Walking to School and Car Parking

Walking To School and Car Parking

We are all aware of the advantages of walking to School, for both children and adults. The Governors wish to encourage children to walk to school whenever possible—and try to encourage walking at least once each week.

Parking around the School is always problematic and of particular concern to many of us. The safety of children must be our prime consideration. Please park with care and thoughtfulness for the residents in Sweets Way, Orchard Avenue and Queens Avenue. Please DO NOT park on the pavements or obstruct residents’ driveways—and please DO NOT park on the yellow zigzag lines under any circumstances.

CARS MAY NOT ENTER THE SCHOOL PREMISES FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING TURNING.

Due to building works you can no longer park in Sweets Way car park and there is very limited space on the road.

If you  arrive via Queens Avenue we suggest you use the unofficial one-way system by entering Queens  Avenue opposite Pollard Road and exiting opposite Loring Road. This helps to avoid congestion. Thank you.
